It's time to submit for the NASA TechRise Student Challenge! The submission process is a little different for TechRise versus other challenges on the Future Engineers platform, so we have provided specific instructions below. For this challenge, only teachers/school employees can submit on behalf of their student teams.
Please keep in mind the following prior to submitting:
- All proposals should be written by students and submitted by YOU - the educator.
- Teachers/schools/teams may submit multiple entries, but each entry should be unique.
- Prizes are limited to one winner per school, regardless of how many proposals are submitted.
- If you registered using Google, you will need your Gmail and password.
- If you registered with a username and password, please use that.
- Please have your students' proposal saved as a PDF file and verify that it has the four narrative sections and team information section filled out, as explained in the Proposal Guide & Template.
** Don't have a username and password? Stop and SIGN UP first.
STEP TWO: SUBMIT!
To submit a NASA TechRise proposal, you can either log in and submit from the challenge page, or you can submit from the teacher dashboard. Check out the two ways below.
OPTION ONE: Submitting Through Your Account Dashboard
- While logged into your Future Engineers Teacher account, go to your account dashboard at futureengineers.org/account/dashboard. On the bottom left-hand corner, click “Submit.”
- Download the proposal template linked in your dashboard if you have not already. Once your proposal is ready for submission, click "Submit an Entry."
- Next, ensure that your school’s name is at the top of the page, and then press "Continue."
- Next, fill out your team’s name and a title for your Proposal, and then upload your team’s Proposal. **Make sure you have followed the Proposal Template Guide, used the proposal template, and saved it as a PDF. The proposal template can be found here.
- Click “Submit" and preview your proposal. If everything looks good, press “Submit Entry." Once successfully submitted, you will see a confirmation page that looks like this:
- Need to edit a proposal? Proposals can be edited via your teacher dashboard at any point before the challenge deadline. The last submitted proposal(s) will be judged.
- If your team is submitting multiple proposals, you will need to go through the submission process for each proposal.
OPTION TWO: Submitting through the NASA TechRise Challenge Page
- Go to futureengineers.org/nasatechrise and click “Log in to Submit” (or "Submit" if you are already logged in).
- Go to the NASA TechRise Challenge Page and click “Submit.”
- Follow #3-7 listed in the OPTION ONE instructions above to complete submission.
